Assess the situation: either continue moving toward a safe shelter location or leave the vehicle immediately.

What should you do if it is impossible to leave the vehicle due to the threat?

Lower yourself as much as possible inside the vehicle and protect your head with your hands.

Follow the driver’s instructions.

If you hear an explosion nearby or a drone is rapidly approaching, lie face down on the ground, cover your head with your hands, and keep your mouth slightly open to reduce the impact of the blast wave pressure.

What is considered a safe shelter location in an open area?

A ditch, excavation pit, basement entrance, pedestrian tunnel, or the nearest reinforced concrete or brick structure.

What should you do if you are trapped under rubble?

Your main task is to make your presence known (create noise) and wait for rescuers. Knock on pipes or concrete surfaces. If mobile communication is available, call 112 or inform relatives about your location.
