RSU Scientists and Experts to participate in the PMNET Forum
On 8 and 9 October 2026, the international Precision Medicine Networking Forum PMNET Forum 2026 will take place at the National Library of Latvia. Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) is also involved in organising the event.
The PMNET Forum is the region’s leading precision medicine event, bringing together scientists, doctors, healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, policymakers and representatives of patient organisations from Latvia and abroad to share experience and discuss the development and practical implementation of precision medicine. Below is a brief overview of the forum sessions and discussions featuring RSU experts.

The seminar “Lost in Translation? Why Biomarker Discoveries Rarely Reach Patients” will examine why biomarker discoveries rarely reach patients.
The seminar will be moderated by Inese Čakstiņa-Dzērve, Lead Researcher at the RSU Institute of Microbiology and Virology. RSU Institute of Oncology and Molecular Genetics researchers Zanda Daneberga, Marija Lazovska and Mihails Tarasovs will share their experience and join the discussion.
