On 7 October 2026, Rīga Stradiņš University will host a seminar organised by EATRIS Latvia and RSU, “Lost in Translation? Why Biomarker Discoveries Rarely Reach Patients”. The seminar will explore how promising biomarker discoveries can be translated into clinical practice and patient care, with a focus on scientific, clinical, regulatory and commercialisation challenges.

The seminar is organised within the project "RSU Participation in the Horizon Europe Programme" (No. 1.1.1.5/3/25/I/014), implementing Latvia’s ERIC partnership and action plan with the aim of strengthening national participation in European research infrastructures and promoting international cooperation.
