Targeted Scholarship for Modernising RSU Healthcare Study Programmes
Philanthropist Boris Teterev’s targeted scholarship for modernising RSU study programmes is intended for academic staff at healthcare study programmes.
The scholarship was established with the support of the Boris and Ināra Teterev Foundation with the signing of a statement of intent on 30 September 2014. The purpose of the targeted scholarship is to promote the development of new, innovative study courses, as well as integrate innovative learning and teaching solutions into existing courses.
The activities of the targeted scholarship can be implemented in two ways:
- by academic staff members working individually;
- through collaboration between two academic staff members.
The academic staff members involved share equal responsibility for both the implementation process and its quality. They are obliged to notify the targeted scholarship administrator in writing if any non-compliance with the established requirements is identified during the course development process. The four-month scholarship includes three months dedicated to content development and one month allocated for uploading the developed materials to the RSU e-learning platform and preparing the final documentation. The course developed within the framework of the scholarship must be implemented exclusively within RSU study programmes.
The targeted scholarship is disbursed as a one-time non-cash payment of EUR 1,600 (one thousand six hundred euros, zero cents) for individual work, and EUR 1,600 (one thousand six hundred euros, zero cents) per academic staff member in case two academic staff members collaborate. The payment is made without advance disbursements and only after the results have been uploaded to the RSU e-learning platform and a final decision has been made by the Scholarship Committee.
Applicants are encouraged to carefully review the scholarship regulations for detailed information on the eligibility criteria and required documentation. All documents must be submitted in electronic format and signed with a qualified electronic signature.
Required documents:
