Rīgas Stradiņa universitātes (RSU) Medicīnas fakultātes maģistra studiju programmā Veselības vadība uzsākta sadarbība ar Greifsvaldes Universitāti (Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University Greifswald, Vācija), kuras ietvaros tiek organizēta studentu un akadēmiskā personāla pieredzes apmaiņa. Sadarbības nedēļas ietvaros 28. maijā no plkst. 10.00 līdz 12.00 studenti, RSU mācībspēki un darbinieki aicināti uz divām vieslekcijām RSU centrālās ēkas (Dzirciema ielā 16) Hipokrāta auditorijā.

Social Health Insurance in Germany: Essential features and (future) challenges

stefans-fless-vacijas-viesprof-intro.jpg Prof. Dr. Steffen Fleßa is head of department of health care management at the University of Greifswald, Germany. After his training in business administration (focus on health care management) he gained practical experience in Tanzania for five years. Later he was research assistant at the department of medical economics, University of Erlangen-Nürnberg. Further steps in his career were a professorship of nursing administration (Evang. University of Applied Sciences Nürnberg), professorship of international health economics (Medical School, University of Heidelberg) and University of Greifswald. He was dean of studies and vice dean of the faculty of law and economics. His main research interests are in the field of quantitative modelling, health care management and non-profit management. He is member of several societies, e.g. German Society of Health Economics.

valters-rids-vacijas-viesprof-intro.jpg Prof. Dr. Walter Ried holds the chair for General Economics and Public Finance at the University of Greifswald, Germany. After his training in Economics, he received his Ph.D. and his Habilitation at the University of Mannheim, Germany. He was dean of the faculty of law and economics at Greifswald University from 2010 to 2012. Since 2013, Prof. Ried chairs the Committee on Health Economics at the renowned Society for Social Policy. His research interests include the structure of social health insurance and the sustainability of Public services in rural areas.
