During the day, 22.5 litres of blood were donated by 49 donors of which 26 were first-time donors. This amount could potentially save 147 lives! In total, 14 student interest groups with nearly 70 participants set up stalls at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) annual Health Day event that took place on Thursday, 12 December.

From 10 to 12 December, the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Career Centre organised several well-being events, a yoga class, and workshops to provide staff and students with the opportunity to take care of physical and mental well-being and reduce stress.

On Wednesday, 11 December, a delegation from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences visited the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Medical Education Technology Centre (METC) to discuss opportunities for promoting cooperation in the field of military medicine and disaster medicine, as well as cooperation opportunities in the context of international projects.
Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) has been included in the prestigious QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025 for the first time. This ranking evaluates the sustainability performance of universities. This marks the third year RSU has participated in the rankings, and the result reflects the University's increased efforts and focused work in addressing sustainability issues.
