With the aim to promote the development of digital skills in the healthcare sector, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) in partnership with Riga TechGirls will provide a free digital skills and innovations masterclass programme Cilvēcīgi par tehnoloģijām (Technology Made Human). The masterclass is meant for healthcare professionals, representatives of start-ups, and anyone who wants to work in this sector in the future.
On 18 September 2024, 11.00-14.00, the International External Advisory Board will visit Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU), the RSU Latvian Academy of Sport Education (LASE), and the RSU Science Hub.
This summer, Raina Nelson, a student from Stanford University in the United States, interned at the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) China Studies Centre. This summer, Riga Stradiņš University (RSU) has received the largest number of applications from international students in its history. Among the 1,231 international applicants were students from 85 countries, but 436 young people from 43 countries will start their studies at RSU, which means that there were a total of three applicants for one study place. The majority of students are from Europe - Germany (25%), Sweden (24%), Norway (14%) and Finland (13%). Eight students from Ukraine will also start their studies at RSU this autumn.
