A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) between RSU and Vita-Salute San Raffaele University and San Raffaele Hospital in Italy on Friday, 9 June.
The MOU was signed by the RSU Rector Prof. Aigars Pētersons and Paolo Rotelli, President of the San Donato Hospital Group of San Raffaele University. The Memorandum aims to strengthen the cooperation in clinical studies and study placements, resident and doctoral studies, exchange of lecturers and students, as well as research, joint projects and training courses.
Panaceja, an educational game for future pharmacists and physicians, and a collection of practical tasks for international marketing and advertising specialists – these are only two of the innovations currently being actively developed by the academic staff from Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) thanks to funding from the Boris and Ināra Teterev Foundation and the University. The first scholarships of this kind were awarded by the Foundation nine years ago.

The data shows that RSU has maintained and continues to strengthen its leading position in terms of reputation assessment both in society as a whole and among young people. It stands out among other higher education institutions with the quality of education, the practical knowledge and skills it provides, as well as the RSU diploma being valued highly in the labour market.
The China Studies Centre of Rīga Stradiņš University is organising a guest lecture / data workshop by Alberta University's (Canada) Professor Reza Hasmath themed How China Sees the World in 2023.
The second World Society for Virology conference will take place on 15-17 June 2023 at Rīga Stradiņš University. The conference will bring together experts from 26 countries and five continents.
During the three-day conference, nearly 100 of the world's leading virologists will discuss human, animal and plant viruses in 12 thematic sessions. Special attention will be devoted to matters related to the Covid-19 pandemic and the latest laboratory technologies.
