Members of the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Alumni Association are invited to attend a general meeting on Friday, 19 May, at 15.30.

The aim of the general meeting is to look back at the events of the past year and to discuss the most important moments in the life of an RSU alumni.

Robert West, Professor of Psychology at University College London, shares his view on the dangers of oversimplification and the future of behavioural science: 'I would like to be optimistic and believe that we will see a golden age of behavioural science.' Further, he also illustrates the different applications of behavioural science, and the career opportunities that a degree in health communication can open up.

New Members of the German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce Meet at Rīga Stradiņš University

On Thursday, 20 April, an event jointly organised by the German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce (AHK) and Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) was held at the RSU Medical Education Technology Centre (METC). At the event, the new members of AHK presented the specifics of their enterprises and the services they provide, as well as learned about the RSU development strategy and simulation-based studies in medicine and healthcare.

Sniedze Mūrniece will defend her doctoral dissertation in an online open meeting of the RSU Clinical Medicine Degree Committee on 12 June. Her dissertation is titled 'Near-infrared Spectroscopy-Based Clinical Algorithm Applicability During Spinal Neurosurgery and Postoperative Cognitive Decline'.
