A discussion will be held on 24 November at 16:00 - 17:30 about the research of PhD-student Lena Herzberg (University of Bristol). The discussion will take place in Auditorium 1A in 16 Dzirciema iela. The title of her work is "How To Be Many: Understanding Difference and Disagreement Among Young Russian Speakers In Latvia. An Ethnographic Study".
At the end of the summer, staff and students at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) nominated candidates for the RSU Annual Award in nine categories. 42 candidates were nominated for the Administrative Employee of the Year award and after a university-wide vote, RSU management picked a winner from the three leading choices: Inguna Grebstele (pictured), Chief Records Manager at the Department of Document Management and Archives. Grebstele has worked at RSU since 2010.

The Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Institute of Oncology is Lindex Latvia's partner in breast cancer research.
Sanita Šuriņa will defend her doctoral dissertation on 19 December at 11:30 in an open meeting of the RSU Psychology Degree Committee in the Hippocrates Auditorium (16 Dzirciema iela) and online. Her dissertation is titled 'Factors Related to COVID-19 Preventive Behaviour in Population of Latvia'.
The University's traditional Health Day will take place in the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Main Building (16 Dzirciema iela) on Wednesday, 30 November, from 10:00 to 14:00.
