Guntars Gūte, journalist from the newspaper Diena, speaks with Aigars Pētersons, Rector of Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU), about the university’s achievements to date and its future goals in research, science, and innovation, including at the international level.
Monday, 24 March, will mark the beginning of Research Week at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU), featuring five days of international conferences taking place both online and in-person. The conferences will bring together researchers from over 40 countries.
On Monday, March 10, the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Pharmaceutical Education and Research Centre hosted a meeting of the heads of the Ministry of Health’s subordinate institutions and structural units. The visit was attended by the Minister for Health, Hosams Abu Meri.
Renāte Teterovska will defend her doctoral dissertation on 4 April in an open meeting of the RSU Basic Sciences of Medicine, including Pharmacy doctoral committee. Her dissertation is titled 'Antibacterial activity against bovine mastitis-inducing pathogens and antiradical activity of polyphenolic-compounds-containing plant extracts.'
The next meeting of the RSU Council will take place on 19 March 2025.
