Objective

To provide basic knowledge in the aspects of applied photography and photographing.

None.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

After mastering the course students will know the principles of photographing and use of photo equipment.

Skills

After mastering the course students will know how to:
• get images according to their needs;
• select a technological solution according to the concept of the photo project;
• make photos and use automated and manual control programmes of a camera.

Competence

After mastering the course students will be able:
• to independently take photos in different genres – landscape, still life, portrait;
• to independently use basic tools in programmes from the Adobe group for post-processing of images. To understand basics of colour, contract and colour saturation compensation;
• to format images for different printing (chromogenic printing, offset, lambda and lightjet) and screen environments.
