About Study Course
Objective
The bachelor's thesis is a student's independent research on a topical problem in health care, and is a compulsory part of the study program, the aim of which is to provide an opportunity to assess readiness to independently use the acquired knowledge and skills in solving research and professional problems.
Prerequisites
Successfully passed examinations in all courses provided in the study program.
Learning outcomes
Understands, compares and critically evaluates various theoretical approaches and research results related to the research topic; names and describes data acquisition, processing and analysis methods, identifies the practical application of research results, understands the requirements for the development of a bachelor's thesis and evaluation criteria.
Formulates the aim of the research and raises the research tasks and question (s) / hypothesis (es) according to the topic, selects and critically evaluates the literature sources, substantiates the topicality and problem of the research. Able to plan and implement the course of the research, including – select the appropriate sampling and tools for the purpose of the research, as well as develop the protocol of the procedure and select appropriate data processing and analysis methods. Is able to describe and interpret the obtained research results, identify research limitations and strengths and draw appropriate conclusions.
Independently plans and develops research in accordance with the basic principles and ethical norms of research, synthesizes its content based on the selected literature and the obtained results, independently organizes work and makes decisions, discusses the obtained research results and conclusions.
