Objective

Will orient yourself in the basics, methods, terminology of functional classes and will be able to apply it in various training processes.

Prerequisites

Anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, kinesiology, sports theory.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.1. Will navigate the terminology of functional exercises, determine the functional importance of exercises depending on the type and specifics of the class or target group.
2. Will be able to apply English terminology to functional exercise descriptions and will be able to name the muscle groups involved in English.

Skills

1.1. Will be able to use functional exercise terminology to formulate exercises.
2. Will be able to determine and distinguish the functional utility of exercises in movements.
3. Demonstrate the technical performance of functional exercises.

Competence

1.1. Will be able to draw up functional lesson plans using functional exercise terminology.
2. Customize functional exercises based on goal.
3. Will be able to assess and analyse the competence of themselves and colleagues in the foundations and terminology of functional exercises.
