Objective

Acquire knowledge and skills to read, write, create, explain, recognise, classify and use anatomy and clinical terms correctly; integrate Latin knowledge into the acquisition and scientific work of other study courses; use acquired knowledge in professional activities.

Prerequisites

Latvian and English alphabet.

1.Basic rules in reading and writing of medical terminology.

1.Correctly read and write the medical terms.

Competence

1.On completion of the course, the students will be able to write and properly use anatomical and clinical terms in academic settings and in their speciality.
