About Study Course
Objective
To promote the knowledge of the radiological diagnostic methods, physical basics, types of images and planes, indications and contraindications, normal radiological anatomy.
Prerequisites
Basics of physics, normal and pathological anatomy and physiology.
Learning outcomes
After successful completion of the course students will have acquired the knowledge that will allow to:
1) explain the basic principles of various radiological techniques (X-ray, computed tomography, magnetic resonance, ultrasound, radionuclide imaging).
2) correct use of radiological terms.
3) distinguish between different types of images and examination’s planes.
4) name indications and contraindications of radiological examinations.
5) know the normal radiological anatomy.
After completion of the study course students:
1) will be able to use radiological terms.
2) will be able to distinguish different types of radiological images.
3) will be able to recognize the different organs in normal radiological images.
