Objective

To create conditions for the expertise, skills and abilities in a nutrition specialist's work in health care and rehabilitation system based on multi-level practice and apprenticeship system.

Prerequisites

All of the study programme subjects acquired.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.Strengthen and develop the understanding of the patients dietary history collection and the result analysis, target setting, proper nutrition therapy selection of different age and pathology in patients (gastroenterology, diabetes, pulmonology, nephrology, rehabilitation), cooperation with other rehabilitation professionals.

Skills

1.Able to use nutritional therapy theories and methods of working with different groups of patients individually and in a group, including working in multidisciplinary team

Competence

1.Students will be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of the nutritional therapy of different diseases prevention and treatment and its application in practice.
