Objective

To develop knowledge and skills about psychological crisis and psychological trauma the risk factors, manifestations, consequences of psychological crisis and psychological trauma, and the possibilities of psychological assistance for people in crisis and suffering from psychological trauma.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.Students explain the risk factors, manifestations and consequences of the psychological crisis, the causes, course, consequences of the psychological trauma. Describes violence, its types, course. Describes the psychological aspects of suicide. Describes the basic principles of psychological help for people in crisis.

Skills

1.Students analyze the possible risk factors, manifestations and consequences of the crisis. Students evaluate the possibilities of psychological help in a crisis situation. Students evaluate possible causes, course and consequences of acute and trauma.

Competence

1.Using the acquired knowledge about psychological crises and trauma, students analyze possible risk factors, manifestations and consequences of psychological crisis and psychological trauma in the given cases. Students evaluate the manifestations of acute and post-traumatic stress disorders based on current disease classifications.
