About Study Course
Objective
The course aims to deepen students’ understanding of crisis communication management. The course provides practical experience in developing communication strategies, fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for effective crisis management and restoration of reputation.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of communication with target audiences, basic principles of crisis communication.
Learning outcomes
1.Will be familiar with:
• Theoretical models of crisis communication, their application;
• Strategic Communication planning principles in crisis situations;
• The importance of leadership in the communication process and decision-making, in times of crisis;
• Understanding the role of media and society in times of crisis;
• Basic principles of reputation management and long-term impact factors.
1.• Analysis of crisis situations and choice of communication solutions in the context of social work
• Developing strategic communication plans tailored to a specific organisation and situation
• Implementation of cooperation with media, society and internal audience segments
• Effective management communication and decision-making in pressure situations
• Identifying problem situations and developing constructive solutions
1.• Ability to manage communication processes in crisis situations within an organisation or the public sector
• Ability to make responsible, data and experience-based decisions in communication management
• Ability to critically evaluate the effectiveness of the communication strategy and the necessary improvements
• Ability to represent an organization in a public space with compelling and reliable communication
• Ability to lead an interdisciplinary team and coordinate communication across different channels
