About Study Course
Objective
To ensure acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in order to prepare an oncologist for thorough understanding of epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, determination of stages and treatment principles of haematology and oncology diseases.
Learning outcomes
1.Knowledge of clinical manifestations of haematological tumours, laboratory diagnostics and therapy principles; most frequent complications; bone marrow transplantation; operation principles of haematopoiesis growth factors and usage indications; principles of transfusion therapy.
1.To diagnose haematological tumours according to the clinical picture, ability to select the most appropriate examination methods and interpret their data, to understand the organisation principles of the flow of haematology- oncology patients and organically integrate in it; recognize the complications induced by the disease or therapy and make their correction.
1.Laboratory test interpretation (40); bone marrow aspiration biopsy procedure and elementary interpretation of the results; physical examination of the lymphatic glands and spleen
