The course provides students with an overview of the content of European cultural heritage, with the aim of providing students with a broader general humanitarian perspective, which is an important prerequisite for further training of professionals in the field of public relations and journalism, while avoiding destruction of general humanitarian culture competence in the Internet age.



Learning outcomes


Knowledge of the development of the history of European ideas from ancient culture until the end of the 18th century, outstanding cultural politicians, artists and literary experts, as well as media experts, on technological development, philosophical and political discourse in Western Europe.


To critically analyse the basic texts of different eras in European culture.


To form a dialogue and presentations on the course topics, to substantiate, and to develop independent critical works.
