Objective

To develop knowledge of the psychological aspects of individual and group behavior in contemporary organizations, as well as the ability to apply organizational psychology knowledge in such areas as personnel selection, performance management, talent management, employee development.

• Describes organizational development methods and ways of consulting.
• Describes various motivation theories.
• Defines concept of power and influence.
• Characterizes the psychological manifestations of the relationship between power and subordination in work organizations.
• Defines the functions and roles of the manager.
• Describes the psychological and socio-psychological characteristics of the individual types and their impact on the work process.
• Defines loyalty to the organization.
• Describes methods of personnel selection.
• Describes the basic principles of talent management.
• Distinguishes between different leadership theories.
• Distinguishes different management styles and their impact on work processes within the organization.
• Distinguishes methods of performance evaluation.
• Distinguishes basic processes of talent management, employee development and motivation systems.
• Describes the causes of organizational conflict, occupational stress and mobbing.

Skills

1.• Evaluates what type of organizational culture is specific to an organization and how it influences organizational processes and relationships within the organization.
