About Study Course
Objective
Ensure that having completed the course, students are able to use English for communication in daily life and work-related situations in accordance with the description of skills corresponding to levels A1/A2 of the “Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment” . Tasks: 1. Develop English language speaking, reading and writing skills and knowledge of language structures. Acquire basic professional terminology in the field of police in English.

Learning outcomes
Able to use standard vocabulary in English in spoken and written communication, able to recognise and distinguish between statements and questions; able to find the necessary information in the text; able to use the most necessary phrases for starting and carrying on the conversation and giving the information; able to use simple, most common English language structures; able to recognise and determine whether the relevant statement or text is related to present, past or future activities.
Able to use general and special terminology; perform simple practical tasks related to communication between the police personnel and colleagues and clients of the EU countries within their scope of competence; provide a summary of the information obtained both verbally and in writing, using appropriate terminology.
As a result of successful completion of the study course, students will be able to use the acquired terminology in studies and in simple situations related to their professional activities.
