Objective

The course aims to provide students with knowledge and expertise on a general concept and a variety of models of social entrepreneurship in the world, including experience, instruments and mechanisms for sustainable social entrepreneurship.

Prerequisites

Basics of economics, international business, organisational theory and management.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Understanding of general concepts and various approaches and models of social entrepreneurship and real-world experience from different industries and countries.

Skills

Presentation skills strengthen the student ability of providing arguments, explaining and discussing the current/ problematic social entrepreneurship issues. Group work and discussions are improving student reasoning and critical thinking skills.

Competence

The ability to analyse, compare, describe and evaluate different approaches for establishing and managing sustainable social entrepreneurship.
