Objective

The aim of the study course is to acquaint Master's students with the diversity of biomedical problems, possible research directions, and to introduce the methods used in biomedical laboratories.

Prerequisites

In natural sciences or medicine.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.On completion of the course the student will be able to:
• outline the various methods and possibilities in biotechnology, in the creation of transgenic plants and animals;
• explain the benefits and risks associated with biotechnology.

Skills

1.As a result of learning the study course, students will be able to plan and conduct scientific research in the field of current problems of biomedicine.

Competence

1.Will be able to analyse biotechnological processes.
