The student hostel offers tenants:
- a study area,
- lockable bicycle storage;
- a laundry room;
- a gym;
- a rehearsal space for dancing, exercise, yoga classes or other activities (for a fee).
Each room has a bed with a pillow, blanket, bed sheets, desk, chair, shelf and a closet. Please note that students have to provide their own kitchenware (utensils, pans, pots, etc.).
The rent in this student hostel has been fixed and includes payment for utilities (heating, water, and electricity, change of bed sheets and other administration and maintenance costs). Once you start your tenancy in the student hostel, the first fee includes first month's rent and a security deposit (equivalent to one month’s rent). The deposit will be refunded to you within 4 weeks after the end of your contract.
RSU student hostel is located in Āgenskalns – an area of Riga, where you will be able to find shops and cafes, and a wide range of public services.
- 3-5 minutes walking distance to the public transport stop
- 5-6 minutes walking distance – Pauls Stradiņš Clinical University Hospital
- 1-2 minutes walking distance to a grocery store (Rimi)
- 16-31 minutes drive to the gym (Lemon Gym, GYM! Olimpia)
- 16-18 minutes drive to Riga Central Station
- 25 minutes drive to the Old Town
It is possible to purchase an entry permit for the Student Hostel territory, which allows parking of a passenger vehicle or motorcycle in a designated area reserved for hostel residents. Parking in other areas of the territory is permitted only for RSU employees with special permits. Priority for purchasing an entry permit is given to Student Hostel residents who are students or employees of RSU and RSU Red Cross Medical College.

There is a ramp at the building's central entrance at 17 Mārupes iela k-1, as well as safe railings. The doorbell is positioned at an appropriate height to be accessible and a room on the first floor has been renovated and adequately equipped for people with disabilities.
The stairs at the entrance have been reconstructed and an additional outdoor lift/ramp for people who use a wheelchair has been installed. Rooms on the ground floor are suitable for people with disabilities, and there are specially adjusted showers and toilets.
