Functions of the department

The Academic Affairs Department cooperates with other departments at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU), with state institutions and private individuals to achieve its goals and tasks.

Main tasks of the department

• To administer and update information related to the department's activities in RSU electronic systems regularly;
• To analyse the study process and ensure its development;
• To monitor and analyse the functioning of systems related to admissions, the study process and academic staff work records, to prepare and coordinate the priorities and development of information systems in cooperation with the IT Department;
• Carry out analysis of data related to studies;
• Planning study places in the long term in cooperation with the RSU Finance Department.
