Edgars Edelmers will defend his doctoral dissertation on 29 December in an open meeting of the Basic Sciences of Medicine, including Pharmacy doctoral committee. The defence will take place in the Hippocrates Lecture Theatre (RSU Main Building, 16 Dzirciema iela) and on Zoom. Edelmers' dissertation is titled "Automated Morphological Structure Detection, Segmentation, and 3D Model Reconstruction from Medical Images Using Artificial Intelligence Deep Neural Network Technologies".
