International Student Ambassadors

The International Student Ambassador Programme at Riga Stradiņš University (RSU) brings together motivated, globally minded students who represent the university to prospective students, partners, and the wider international community. Ambassadors act as leaders, storytellers, and peer supporters who share authentic experiences about studying medicine, participating in research, enjoying student life, and being part of RSU’s dynamic international environment.

Vision

To cultivate a diverse community of student leaders who elevate RSU on the global stage by promoting international collaboration, celebrating cultural diversity, and inspiring academic excellence.
Ambassadors highlight the university’s strengths in medicine, research, sports, and vibrant student life, strengthening its global visibility and impact..

Goals

Promote RSU internationally through personal stories and insights into medicine, hospital partnerships, research, sports, and student life.
Support and mentor international students, helping them integrate both academically and socially.
Engage in outreach activities such as open days, fairs, webinars, and campus events.
Develop leadership and communication skills, preparing students for future global careers.
Strengthen RSU’s partnerships, connecting students with hospitals, research institutions, and local organisations.

Key Principles

Ambassadors serve as peer mentors, content creators, and connectors within the RSU community.
The programme encourages personal growth, networking, and intercultural competence.

Responsible Person for the International Student Ambassador Programme
