Embase is Elsevier’s comprehensive biomedical and pharmacological database, containing over 32 million records from more than 8,500 currently published journals and updated daily.

Embase is an online research platform that offers advanced capabilities for searching, filtering, and analyzing medical and pharmacological literature. It allows you to refine searches with Emtree-controlled vocabulary, set up custom alerts, and export records for systematic reviews, pharmacovigilance monitoring, and drug-development workflows.
