Research

Any academic or research department at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) that plan to have a US guest speaker visit Latvia between June 2022 and January 2023 are invited to apply for funding from BAFF, the Baltic-American Dialogue Program. This funding is available to educational institutions, non-profit organisations, and associations.

The maximum amount of funding available to cover the costs of organising and hosting is 10,000 USD. The US expert can be engaged as the event's key expert, or speaker.

The programme's main objective is to obtain useful knowledge from the US, which could improve, develop, and further knowledge exchange in various sectors and fields in Latvia.

The foundation's mission is to strengthen ties between the United States and Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania through education and exchange programs focused on economic growth and democratic development.
