Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) and the RSU Institute of Stomatology plan to develop a modern dental practice and study centre on the RSU campus by the end of 2028.

The new dental study and research centre will be located on the RSU campus at 16/20 Dzirciema iela, and planning and design work has already begun.

According to the plans, the RSU Children's Dental Centre will be located on the second floor of the new building and the third floor will house the Orthodontics Clinic of the RSU Institute of Stomatology. The remaining floors will accommodate lecture and simulation rooms and other facilities of the Faculty of Dentistry. The existing buildings will be connected to the new building by passages.

The building will have a total of six floors with ~4,870 m2 of space. The Children's Dental Centre will occupy 875 m2, which is ~21% of the building area.

The planned construction cost of the building is estimated at ~ EUR 13.2 million, with EUR 3.2 million allocated for the establishment of the Children's Dental Centre. The construction of the centre is expected to be completed by the end of 2028.
