RSU Professor Gunta Ancāne delivers lecture in Berlin
In late October, Dr. med. Gunta Ancāne, a professor at the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy and Head of the Psychosomatic Clinic, was invited to deliver a series of lectures to doctors at the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy in Berlin, Germany.
Prof. Ancāne introduced her German peers to the latest studies in neurobiology and their connection to clinical practice concerning psychosomatic disorders and diseases with the lecture cycle Neurobiological Basics of Psychosomatic Medicine. The cycle has been included in the continuing education programme for physicians.
