RSU volleyball teams to compete in Latvian Cup final

A historic moment for sports at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) – both RSU volleyball teams have reached the Latvian Cup final. We invite the RSU community to come and support our players this Saturday, 13 December , at the Rimi Olympic Center in Riga (6b Grostonas iela).

For the first time in our university's sporting history, both the women's and men's volleyball teams have reached the Latvian Cup final. This is an outstanding achievement that confirms the professionalism and high level of play of athletes at RSU. On 13 December, the winners of the 2025 Latvian Cup will be determined in both the women's and men's competitions.

• 17:30 Women's final
  RSU vs. Mārupes SC

The RSU women's team will defend the Latvian Cup they won last year in the final. In the 2024 final, our team defeated Mārupes SC, and this year they will face the same opponent again.

• 20:30 Men's final
  Robežsardze/RSU vs. Ezerzeme/DU

This fall, RSU entered into a long-term partnership with the Baltic League team Robežsardze/Rīga, which now competes under the name Robežsardze/RSU. This collaboration has already borne fruit, with the team earning a spot in the Latvian Cup final.
