WHO Regional Director for Europe meets with Public Health Institute's lead researcher Prof. Lazdāne

Despite the very busy agenda in Latvia, on 17 September 2024, Dr Hans Kluge, WHO Regional Director for Europe, met with Prof. Gunta Lazdāne, who has served for many years as a Sexual and Reproductive Health Programme Manager in the WHO Regional Office for Europe.

Dr Kluge confirmed that one of the priorities of his manifesto is health of women and girls, especially prevention of violence and management of the consequences.
