The Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Alumni Association continues to develop as an active, inclusive, and influential community, uniting more than 1,900 members across Latvia and abroad. This number grows with each graduation season, confirming that alumni value staying connected with the university and each other.

By expanding its range of simulations, the RSU Medical Education Technology Centre (METC) has developed an innovative table-top simulation platform to assess the readiness of medical institutions to admit large numbers of critically ill patients.
As part of the consolidation of Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) and the Latvian Academy of Sport Education (LASE), the contents of the RSU LASE website have been adapted and migrated to the appropriate section of the RSU website over recent months.
On Wednesday, 9 July, the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Medical Education Technology Centre hosted the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania Igli Hasani and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia Baiba Braže. The RSU Anatomy Museum hosted an international workshop titled 'Fluid Preserved Collection Management' earlier this week, 7 and 8 July. The event brought together curators, preparators, and conservators of anatomical and natural history collections from Latvia and neighboring countries.
The next meeting of the RSU Council will take place on 11 September 2025.
As the 30th International Congress of the European Society for Rural Sociology (ESRS) approaches, we invited Guntra Aistara, environmental anthropologist and associate professor at the Central European University in Vienna, to share her insights on food sovereignty, a topic she will explore further at the congress. The event will bring together over 400 leading researchers from 37 countries at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) from 7 to 11 July.
