On Wednesday, 25 August, the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Anatomy Museum will host the symposium Anatomy & Beyond, which is dedicated to the interaction between medicine and art. Artists, anatomists, scientists and doctors will discuss how art and anatomy envision the future of humanity on Earth and beyond.
The study direction Psychology will receive a site visit by Latvian and international accreditation experts on 17–19 August, 2021. During the visit, the quality and study environment of the study direction and its study programmes will be assessed.
During the course of the visit, meetings will be held with the management of the university, the study direction and the study programmes, with lecturers, graduates, students and employer representatives. The visit will have an impact on the term of the study direction's accreditation.

The neuromuscular disease gradually destroys motor neurons, leading to difficulty sitting, getting up, breathing and eating. The sooner the disease is "caught", the higher the expectations of the child to live as fully as possible.
