To promote knowledge of the basic concepts of rehabilitation and the application of rehabilitation technologies, to develop understanding of the rehabilitation process.

Normal anatomy, physiology, clinical medicine, pathological physiology.
Learning outcomes
1.As a result of the course, students are able to describe the organisation of rehabilitation care, rehabilitation stages and the rehabilitation team; define the role of the masseur in rehabilitation care; recognise the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health; describe functional capacity assessment; physical therapy methods; indications and contraindications for cold and heat therapy; recognise postural characteristics; outline the basic principles of rehabilitation and potential problems in different patient profiles.
