‘We are very satisfied with our well-trained young specialists we are, however, particularly pleased with the growth of the total number of residents, as well as with the number of young professionals who choose regional medical institutions as their training centres. Nearly 20% of the young physicians who graduated from RSU this autumn have concluded an agreement with regional hospitals and had been working there during their studies,’ said Professor Ilze Grope, Dean of the RSU Faculty of Continuing Education.

The young physicians were greeted by the president of the Latvian Medical Association Ilze Aizsilniece and the Dean of the Faculty of Continuing Education Prof. Ilze Grope. The Graduation Ceremony was also attended by RSU management, lecturers, staff members, students and guests.
