The Department of Psychiatry and Narcology, RSU, invites anyone interested to a guest lecture titled Mindfulness-Based Interventions to Enhance Patient Care and Personal Resilience held by Professor Douglas Ziedonis. The Professor is a Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and UMass Memorial Medical Center. The lecture will take place on Thursday, 8 September, from 16:00 to 17:00, in Lecture Theatre No. 2 RSU main building, 16 Dzirciema Street.

UMass Memorial Healthcare University of Massachusetts Medical School is the first and leading centre in the world that developed the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Programme and introduced its integration into various fields of medicine. Medical students, residents of various specialities and practitioners are welcome to attend.
