Representatives from 28 Countries Attend Conference Organised by RSU Library

We are delighted to announce that the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Library has been selected as the organiser of the 19th European Association for Health Information and Libraries (EAHIL) conference Small Step and a Giant Leap: Re-orienting Towards New Environment.

The conference will be held from 11 to 14 June, 2024 at the National Library of Latvia. Its aim is to strengthen cooperation between medical and healthcare libraries in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as to support professional development, improve cooperation, and enable experience exchange between library and information professionals.

EAHIL brings together librarians and information professionals from medical and health science libraries in Europe, with more than 1,000 members from 25 European countries, as well as from the USA, Canada, and Australia. EAHIL supports professional development, enhances cooperation and ensures the exchange of experiences among its members by organising annual meetings in the form of a workshop or conference. EAHIL has chosen its long-standing member, the RSU Library, to host the 19th conference.
