RSU student-athletes represent Latvia at the 32nd World University Games in Germany
From 16 to 27 July, the 32nd Summer World University Games, one of the most significant international multi-sport events, will be held in the Rhine-Ruhr region of Germany. This year, the Latvian delegation comprises 49 student-athletes from ten universities, including nine students from Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU), who will compete in five sporting disciplines.
Participating in top-level competitions and having the opportunity to test one’s abilities against the best is every athlete’s dream. However, the World University Games offer even more: they are an opportunity to experience different cultures, take part in educational events, and build new connections, enriching athletes both professionally and personally. We are proud that RSU students will be representing Latvia at this year’s World University Games.
