RSU student teams to present ideas at the Impact Pitch Arena 2026 entrepreneurship forum
On May 15, the student entrepreneurship forum Impact Pitch Arena 2026 will bring together nine student teams from Rīga Stradiņš University, University of Latvia, and Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies.
The event will take place in Rīga as part of Deep Tech Atelier, the leading Baltic deep tech event, offering young innovators the opportunity to present their ideas to an international audience.

The aim of Impact Pitch Arena 2026 is to strengthen students’ practical entrepreneurial skills by enabling them to apply knowledge gained in academic and innovation programmes to the development of real business ideas. At the same time, the event serves as a platform for further advancement, connecting students with investors, entrepreneurs, and industry experts.
During the event, teams will present their ideas in a short pitch format, with each team delivering a three-minute presentation followed by a Q&A session with the jury. Performances will be evaluated based on the relevance of the problem, the level of innovation, the viability of the business model, the quality of the presentation, and team collaboration. The top three teams will receive cash prizes of EUR 1000 for first place, EUR 800 for second, and EUR 500 for third place, along with additional partner awards.
Three teams from Riga Stradiņš University will participate in the forum with health technology solutions. The team TALLY is developing a mobile application that helps patients track medication use and side effects while simplifying the reporting process for pharmaceutical companies and regulatory authorities. Medrix offers digitised medicine leaflets, making them accessible in various formats, including audio playback, enlarged text, and translated into the user’s native language. Meanwhile, BiometrIQ is developing a digital health dashboard that transforms laboratory and diagnostic data into clear insights with personalised recommendations for improving health.
These and other business ideas are being developed within the incubation programme of the RSU business incubator B-Space, where participants create prototypes, test their ideas, and receive mentorship support to bring their projects closer to real-world implementation.
All visitors of Deep Tech Atelier and innovation enthusiasts are invited to attend Impact Pitch Arena 2026 free of charge and support emerging entrepreneurs in person.
The event will take place at Fantadroms on 15 May from 10:00 to 11:30.
Impact Pitch Arena 2026 is organised by Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies in collaboration with Rīga Stradiņš University and the University of Latvia within the framework of the European Union co-funded project No. 1.1.1.7/1/25/A/001 LBTU Innovation Grants for Students.
