Several RSU lecturers receive Cabinet of Ministers Certificates of Appreciation
On 15 November 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to present Certificates of Appreciation to several professionals working in the cultural and public sector and public administration employees. Among them were four lecturers from Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU).
Cabinet of Ministers Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to the following lecturers:
Ilga Urtāne, Professor Emeritus of the RSU Department of Orthodontics in recognition of her significant contribution to the development of orthodontics.
Prof. Dace Gardovska, Head and Leading Researcher of the RSU Department of Paediatrics, for her contribution to the promotion of public health, the development of medicine and the training of young professionals.
Arvīds Irmejs, Leading Researcher at the RSU Institute of Oncology, Associate Professor at the Department of Surgery, surgeon at Pauls Stradiņš University Hospital, for his contribution to breast cancer treatment and oncology research.
Elīna Miķelsone, PhD in Business Management, Senior Lecturer at the RSU Faculty of Communication, for her significant contribution to the development of ideas and innovation management.
