Movement is valuable! Support children by donating to charity drive "High Five!"

On 18 December, a charity Christmas market will be held in the lobby of the RSU main building ( 16 Dzirciema iela), and part of the proceeds will be donated to the charity drive High Five! (Dod pieci!). Together, we will help children and young people with neurological movement disorders, for whom regular rehabilitation is crucial in their fight for independence and a fulfilling life.

You can donate in one of two ways:

Signe Šetlere will defend her doctoral dissertation on 16 December in an open meeting of the Clinical Medicine doctoral committee. Her dissertation is titled 'Neurofilament Light Chain and Metabolome as Biomarkers of Disease Severity and Progression in Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease.'

There is scientific proof that creative activities increase psychological well-being and reduce stress, so we invite RSU students and employees to Christmas workshops at 14:00-17:00 on December 15 and 16! They will help you to relax from the daily rush and catch the festive spirit with creative activities.

Mihails Tarasovs will defend his doctoral dissertation on 18 December in an open meeting of the Clinical Medicine doctoral committee. The dissertation is titled 'Synovial Inflammation as an Essential Feature of Osteoarthritis: Unravelling the Role of Viral Agents and Associations with Cognitive and Mental Health Outcome'.
