On 16 May at 18.00, poet Ivars Šteinbergs will host a poetry intervention – Anatomical Verses –at the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Anatomy Museum in at 9 Kronvalda bulvāris, Rīga. Visitors to the museum will be able to view, read, and experience it from 17 May to 28 September.

This year has brought major changes to Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) — alongside other consolidation processes, a new faculty was created by merging the Faculty of Rehabilitation with the Faculty of Public Health and Social Welfare: the Faculty of Health and Sports Sciences (FHSS).

A workshop on Human Papilloma Virus Infection and Cervical Cancer (LZP project 2021/1-0484) will be held Friday, 17 May. The agenda includes a research session with RSU researchers and an open session for patients, discussing the significance of HPV testing, screening approaches, and the role of vaccines. The research session of the event will be conducted in English, but the open session will be in Latvian.
