Rīga Stradiņš University will host a lecture by Dr Vivek Trivedi (University of Kent, UK) themed Solvent-free material processing for the development of drug delivery systems using supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2) on Tuesday, 20 August.
Since last year, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) has been consolidating its research units to optimise research processes, promote interdisciplinarity, collaboration, and resource sharing, as well as to enhance the University’s excellence as a research university. These objectives are being pursued under the Consolidation Plan until the project's completion.

Last week, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) hosted a string of summer graduation ceremonies at which bachelor’s and master’s graduates from five faculties received their diplomas. In Riga, the graduations took place in the courtyard of the RSU Main Building next to Iedvesmas Park. The graduates' families could watch the ceremony in person or online via the RSU website.

Amelie Möller, a 24-year-old dentistry student from Hamm, Germany, is currently in her fourth year of studies at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU). Recently elected as the President of international students in the University’s Dental Student Association (DSA), Amelie has been an active member of the association for over two years.
Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) has been gifted the surgical atlas Surgical Anatomy and Exposures of the Knee.
The authors of the atlas are Prof. Bertrams Zariņš, a distinguished Latvian physician, professor of sports medicine and orthopaedics at Harvard University’s Massachusetts General Hospital, and Dr Robert Śmigielski, a trauma and orthopaedic surgeon at the Life Medical Centre in Warsaw.
