The construction of the 3rd phase of the Riga East Clinical University Hospital (Rīgas Austrumu klīniskā universitātes slimnīca, RAKUS) premises was completed in August this year, which finalised the RSU Study Centre. The opening of the new study rooms will take place on 27 September.
A total of 15 classrooms and multifunctional simulation rooms, study areas, a communal kitchen, and a lift to ensure accessibility for people with reduced mobility were created during the construction process. Total area: 988 m².

Staff, students, and specially invited guests attended the ball to honour academic tradition at RSU and celebrate the University’s achievements. The RSU Annual Awards and the Alumni Association Award were presented during the official part of the event.
On 5 September, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) signed a cooperation agreement with its long-term partner – the Latvian Red Cross. Thanks to this cooperation, the RSU Red Cross Medical College is entitled to use the internationally recognised emblem and the name of the Red Cross.
