Hoshika Sivapalan is in her 12th semester and was previously the Medical Science Director of the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) International Student Association (ISA). Rini Stella Roy Francis Xavier is a medical student in her 6th semester and has been actively involved in RSU student life from her first year.
Zane Rožkalne will defend her doctoral dissertation on 1 March at 14:00 in an open meeting of the RSU Health and Sports Sciences Degree Committee. Her dissertation is titled 'Autonomy in Participation and Health Care and Transition Readiness to Adult Health Care for Young People with Cerebral Palsy Summary'.

RSU Rector, Professor Aigars Pētersons gave a speech at the opening of Orientation Week on Tuesday, 31 January outlining that RSU is modern research university that aims to become one of the world's top 500 universities.
Students and residents at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) are welcome to apply for research and innovation grants until 17 February. These grants are aimed at motivating students to get involved in research. All you need is an idea and a plan for your research or business project. By applying for a grant, you can receive up to EUR 4,000 to carry out your research.
