On 31 May, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) continued a tradition that started in 2017 and held a ceremony to celebrate the University’s best sports teams, athletes, and coaches of the academic season.
On 27 May, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) hosted Lithuanian and Estonian seniors’ unions who are its partners in the project Vecums nav šķērslis (Age is not a barrier) and the project coordinator, the specialised learning centre Rutas skola. During the meeting, the participants signed partnership agreements and launched the project.

A practical workshop on proposal preparation and project management, led by PD Dr. rer. nat. habil. Daniel Mertens from Germany, will be held on 26–27 June.
The third EECA INTERACT Workshop was held in Rīga on 13 and 14 December 2022. The event was convened by the Rīga Stradiņš University Institute of Public Health, the Amsterdam Institute for Global Health and Development (AIGHD) and AFEW International. EECA INTERACT is a scientific workshop on HIV, Hepatitis C and Tuberculosis in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, which aims to build capacity as well as strengthen research and clinical networks.
The international study, titled 'Indicators of Health and Quality of Life of People with Disabilities – Sitting Volleyball Players,' examined the health and quality of life of Paralympic volleyball players. The study was conducted between 1995 and 2009 and included participation from several hundred athletes representing 25 countries.
On 1 April this year, the Rīga Stradiņš University Institute of Public Health in collaboration with the Baltic HIV Association started the implementation of the WEEPI Foundation-funded project 'Introducing HIV self-testing in Latvia – pil
