Study Clarified the Attitude of Latvian Health Care Workers on COVID-19 Vaccination

The attitude of employees of Latvian health care institutions (both doctors and support staff) on the COVID-19 vaccination is in 76.9% of cases accepting and supportive, a survey conducted by researchers from Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) concludes. Compared to studies from other countries where this figure varies from 27.7% to 80.9%, the Latvian results can be considered high. The survey took place from March to May this year.

24/7 guard: RSU Business Incubator Develops Autonomous Lawn Meter

This summer, Rīga Stradiņš University’s (RSU) Business Incubator B-Space set free their first "graduates". During Demo day, six teams presented their innovations to improve our everyday life. The laurels of the competition were won by the trio RED Measurements and their palm-sized autonomous lawn meter. It combines a number of functions at the same time – it measures the height of the grass, records the humidity of the ground, air temperature and light intensity.
